The question is a bit vague. How is the agent being called? How is the data to be entered? If the below doesn’t help. you may want to provide a bit more info?

If you are submitting a passthru HTML form using POST method and calling the agent in the action=“” attribute of the form tag; you can use Request_Content(0) in the agent to get all of the post data sent by the form. It will appear as one long string separated by &'s. so you will need to split it to separate the values. It will also be encoded so you may need to decode it to convert certain characters back.

Alternatively, if calling the agent from a link or something you can pass the values in a querystring (i.e. /myagent?openagent&value1=hello) then use Query_String(0) to reference it in the Lotusscript.

Otherwise you should be able to use

session.documentContext to reference the current document and then call the fields by their names.

Use the Domino designer help and examples to find out more on these. Apologies if any of this is incorrect, I’m fairly new to LotusScript myself.

Hope it helps.

Either the place where that user enters his value should be a field (and you can access it in LotusScript like any other field) or you have to write it to a field using JavaScript. Alternatively, you can also give the value along in the url when calling the agent and read the QueryString to get the value back (http://servername/databasename/agentname?OpenAgent&Userenteredvalue=“value”)

How about messageboxes? Input or javascript prompt?
