How can I see line breaks in a view column?

I need to have a view column breakdown a text list into several lines. I want the multiple lines for that column only, I don’t want multiple lines in the view itself.

How can I do that? I tried to use the “New Line” separator in the column oproperties for the list separator, but all that do is add a weird character between each value of the list, it still lists them on the same line…

I would tend to believe from what you are telling us that the data in the field that is showing in the view is NOT a text list.

Can you confirm this by looking at the document properties?

Finally, you are only able to show 9 lines per document in a view. You could have the view show multiple values as a separate entry, and have a previous column sort something else that could keep all of them together, but I don’t know enough about your data to tell you more.

It’s a number list… is that the same?

Field Name: DbActSummDisp

Data Type: Number List

Yanick,

Make sure that the view is set to display multiple lines, shrink to fit (presumably). Alternatively, you can do something like this:

@Implode(FieldName; @newline) or @Implode(FieldName; @char(13))
