Hi all,
Under the messaging config doc, router tab, i can restrict messages based on the size of the message, but for all users. Can i restrict some groups by example?
I need do it for some areas in the company just some groups without restriction and others (Accounting, Buying, etc) with restriction.
Can somebody help me, please…How can i do it??

AFAIK, no. I don’t like this recommendation, but it will work:
Modify the Mail template for those people to limit attachment size. Be sure to throw up a dialog box telling the users why they can’t send the message.
I hope someone else will have a better idea.

There is a third party product called Email Size limiter (from www.mk-net-work.com) that prevents sending emails with atts over a given threshold.This product is installed in the workstation so the email does not go to the server (that’s good since else there would be bandwitdth consumption)
