How can I remove Lotus Sametime icon from System Tray?

Can somebody explain to me how can I remove Lotus Sametime icon from System Tray?

Subject: Removing Sametime Icon

The only way I have found to remove it is to uninstall the embedded Sametime (re-run the install to modify-> de-select Sametime).

Subject: Remove second icon in system tray for Notes embedded sametime client

If you are using the Sametime standalone client (and not the embedded sametime client in Notes), and do not want to see two sametime icons in your system tray:

Edit the plugin_customization.ini file in Notes:

c:\notes\framework\rcp\plugin_customization.ini

Add the following line:

com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.application/useSystemTray=false

Subject: I still see two icons

I followed the instructions to hide the icon. It still opens a second icon when you launch the stand alone client. I wish they would stack like other Notes icons do. The use has large icons and his task bar gets crowded when he has the one to launch and then another one for the open app. He wants to have the quicklanuch on the task bar. Is there any other method to not have the open app icon appear on the task bar?
