How can I refresh Notes contact view using C API?

Hi-I’ve created a simple add-in to Notes in C that creates a new Contact in the contact list. If the Notes client is open, the new contact does not appear on the screen until I hit the F9 refresh key.

Is there a way to force the Notes client to refresh the view from within my C program?

What addin is that? Details man, details.

Is it a menu addin? If so, two ways:

SendMessage is one (you can read the !@#$%^& manual for that one)

pUIView->REFRESH() is the second but requires that your addin plays nice with COM.
