i don’t know, but is it possible maintain mail status red (black) and unread(red) when Archive is used, or how can i do it?

Why would you want to sync read/unreads marks to an archive dB?

Aren’t archived docs always read? Perhaps best practice is for the user (locally based archives) or your Domino administrator (server based archives) to select “Don’t Maintain unread marks” on the Advanced tab of the archive dB.

This sounds like something you could do with the Notes C API, but I question its value.
