USUALLY - when the email is received by another party, in the upper left corner of the Memo form it will indicate the user name that owns the mail file that it was sent from, and if the sender isn’t the same person, it will indicate that the mail was ‘Sent by’ someone else.
If you look at the document properties, it will show the user whose ID was used to actually create/send the mail.
The mail router logs might also be of some help - but won’t normally show IP address or MAC address - I don’t remember if any of the log level settings (or debug parms) would cause IP address to show or not.

I am guessing that when you write “the id file,” you mean “someone else’s ID file.”
One thing you can do is look in the admin requests database for “Update client information in person record” requests for the user in question. The request will contain the NetBIOS name of the computer used to log in by that user.
Unfortunately, I don’t know how reliable this will be; there may be limitations on how often per day such a request will be generated, or some other limitation.
The “Notes client build” and “Notes client machine” fields on the Advanced tab of the person document – which are the fields updated by the request I mentioned above – may also provide helpful information – although not the timestamp information available from the admin requests. I never thought that these fields stored more than one machine name per client version, but at least in the R8 admin process, they do. Again, this may no tbe the case with your R6.5.6 server.
