How can i do it?

hi allI have Domino Server 6.5.1 installed, with 3,500 users, but replication settings sometimes forget some parameters like “Remove documents not modified in the last example 90 days”

How can i automate it? some agent? or maybe policy? somebody have experience about it?

And the sametime case is if i only want two customize locations configured in each client.

Thanks in advanced!

if your interested, we have a tool that (beside other features) allows creation of local-replicas and managing repl-page (everything that can be done in ui, for all or specific locations).

but we don’t set this specific setting, its stored in db, but you could access/enforce those settings with our so called agentrunner.

beside that: you can use NSFDbReplicaInfoGet/NSFDbReplicaInfoSet to change this value.

is this a client or server problem?

but maybe you find a specific reason why this is happening? does it only happen in specific dbs? at a certain time?

Thanks Markus for your answer, it isn’t problem, i think is just configuration, i want automate that tasks, cause i have to configure replication settings, and the locations documents, in each new client. And if i did forget!! ooppss really can be a problem…

what’s your recommendation? Thanks!

what do you actually want to do?

setup location docs? for new users or existing ones?

since your using 6.5, did you check if you can do some of that with policies?

Hi Hilda,

You could check the ‘Space Savers’ in the db replication settings. It might help you.
