How can document appeared twice in two separate rows but only on one column

I want to create a monthly view as follows: This month Last Month

Jan07 20k 30k

Feb07 40k 20k

these are invoices at transaction level, categorised by month.

question is, is the Last Month column possible? since it is picking up from one document but it will appear both in Jan 07 as in this month but appear again in Last Month column in Feb?

any help greatly appreciated.

It can’t. A document might appear more than once in a view (e.g. column is categorised on a multi-value value). A row can only display one document

You can’t use @Dblookup in a view column formula

If you create an item to store it e.g. when you create it.

or if you want to waste your time… read a 2 column view as XML and transform it ito a 3 column view using XSLT…

tq, from what you have written, I guest to create form will be easier. Just that I will need to go back to the view to view the details. This may not the ideal ways of what I want, but you are right, if it is not that critical, I don’t think I should waste too much time on it.
