Subject: housekeeping of system database
All Domino databases can be set to auto-purge documents using the “Remove documents not modified in the last xx days” option in Replication Settings. The three you specifically mentioned, however, already have such purging set up as they come out of the box. LOG.NSF is the exception, though, as its size management is controlled through the INI file parameter LOG.

The server log.nsf does this on it own. Docs over 7 days old at 4am, I think, but this can also be changed in the server’s notes.ini - see “Controlling the size of the log file (LOG.NSF)” in Admin Help.
You can do it for ADMIN4 & STATREP by changing the replicaton settings under “space savers” to remove documents after X days.
Set the days and check the box. Just be aware that if you have a lot of docs older than the set # of days, your client will try to delete all the older docs as soon as you click OK.
Most stuff in ADMIN4.NSF is histortic and not too useful after a couple of weeks, so 14-21 days is a good range. I do recall that this setting won’t delete things that still require attention, so you won’t be purging thigs that are still pending.
You can do the same for STATREP, though we like to keep a replica of our statreps for historical purpsoes to track growth or long term problems. We have startrep set to 90 days.
DOMLOG.NSF is another good candidate for this as well.
