Hosting a composite application in version 7 Domino Server

Hello everybody,

As far as I’ve tested, there is no problem with hosting a composite application in a version 7 Domino Server. The Lotus Notes 8 Client can just access it fine.

Do you know any problems or limitations about hosting a composite application in a version 7 Domino Server?

Composite Applications are a client side feature of Notes 8. You do not need to have a Domino 8. I’ve use a Composite Application with both, Notes and eclipse components, on Domino 7 and I haven’t seen any problems.
