What does “Honor Old Names for 21 days” mean when you are renaming the user information?

For the first 21 days after the name change - BOTH the old and new names will work.
Mail addresseed to the old name will not bounce…

What happens when the user gets locked out…?And what if i didn’t enable the part where the user has to accept the name change?

It measn that if they do not accept the rename or accept it with 21 days, they are locked out of Notes…
