We just started using LN6 client with R5 servers. We ran into a little glitch when configuring a new client.
The Person doc contains the line, Mail server with the name of the mail server, NABPMail1A. When we configure the client, we use the server, NABPApps1A as the connection server when first configuring the client.
With the LN6 client, anytime we tried to use the default bookmarks for mail, calendar, or todo, we get a file not found error, and the status bar shows it only looking at the NABPApps1A server for the mail file. It never looked for the NABPMail1A server and when I tried to manually enter it in the server dialog, it ignored the entry. Yet, when I use the Database - Open dialog, the NABPMail entry is listed.
This is the method that we have used for R5 and have not had this problem.
I manually went and updated the Home/Mail server option in the Location document to NABPMail1A and now it works.
Has the Home/Mail server line in the Location document trumped the Mail server line in the Person document? Or, has the Home/Mail server line taken on some new responsibility that will conflict with the Mail server line?
Any help would be appreciated, as this is our first usage of LN6.
