Hilighted text in FTS appears only in preview pane

Hi,

My database is Full text indexed. when I search for a word in my view and the preview pane is opened, the highlight appears.

However, when I open the document, the highlight doesn’t show.

I have noticed that the field “$Highlights_” is not in the document properties when the document is opened.

Anyone faced this issue before?

In fact, the only thing I’ve seen is the exact opposite, where the preview doesn’t show the highlight, but it’s there when you open the document, along with the $HIGHLIGHTS_ field. Do other users experience the same issue? Have you tried recreated the FTI?

Hi chad,

Yes, other users have the same issue. the behavior first occurred on R7, and now it’s still the same on R9.0.1 FP2

I have tried to recreate the FTI many times.
