Hide-When in Web Not Working

Hi everyone!

I have a page which serves as a navigator in web. On the page, I have a table with javascripts in each cells that displays links to navigate the application. Some of the links need to be hidden on some web users so I used @IsNotMember to control the access. It works fine when I’m accessing it in the server of my development environment but when I access the page using a laptop or a client pc, all of the links shows. It also happens if I use an outline as my navigator.

How come it acts so weird? What could be the possible problem?

Thanks in advance.

@IsNotMember of what? A group? A role?

Often the easiest way to find out what is wrong is to create some computed-text areas in which you compute the things you want to check with your formula, like @UserRoles for example.

When it is in black-and-white on the screen like that the reason(s) for your hide-when formula(s) not working should be easier to find.

I have used the below code for years and it has worked very well. It might be out dated but it works

!@Contains(@UserRoles;“[Admin]”)

thanks for the response.

I have tried using “!@Contain” in UserRoles too but it didn’t work. Now here’s something new. I created a computed text with “@Name([CN];@Username)” on it. At first, it displayed the CN name of the NotesID I’m logged-in. After that, I tried to open the application again but I logged a different NotesID and it displayed the previous ID not the current that I was logged-in! I think it has something to do now with my browser. Maybe I’m having trouble in refreshing the page. Or maybe I’m wrong. By the way, I’m using IE6.

Thanks again folks!
