I have a database that’s design is used internally and externally. I want to hide various parts of the text of the Using Database document depending on a value stored in a Admin Setup profile document.
Do Hide when formula’s work in “Using Database” documents?
Because… I put just hide when 1=1 on a line of text and it was NOT hidden…I mean!
Thanks in advance for any info…

Last time I checked, 1 was still = 1, though some sneaky mathematicians have occasionally tried to prove otherwise. So it seems to me with the hide formula 1=1, the line should be hidden. So what’s the problem?

Hmmmm.
I know there have been a few who have gone to unusually great lengths to prove that 1 + 1 is not always 2, but attempting prove that 1 is not always equal to 1? That is just not right!
Such is this modern complex world of the future that we all must assimilate with…

Well - since 1=1 is True, Of course it would be hidden, as the formula hides the paragraph when it is true.Tom

I mean it wasn’t hidden…I was actually trying to hide based on a value in a profile document…
Since that didn’t work… then I thought does anything work.
So I put 1= 1 in the hide when formula and it still remain visable (not hidden)…
I just tried it again…
I am using version 7.02.
It works in version 6
