Hi,
Does anyone have any suggestion on how to hide a view from the unspecificed users?
I tried including names in the view properties → security,
deselect the all readers and above and tick on names that i intend to allow to view the views. But when i open the database using other Ids, i still can view the view.

The method you describe should work, and is the most secure method.
I would try and discover why it isn’t working for you - it has always worked for me.
Check things like - were you looking at the same replica? Did the other user’s close out of the database (changes in design are cached)? Did you give access to a group, and the other IDs are in that group?
If none of the above work - try creating a role in the ACL and giving the users who need to see the view that role, then restricting the view access using the same role.

Create an outline and then put a hide-when formula on the entry. Just remember this is not security as anyone can select view - Go To.
