Hide twisties altogether? Make them go gonzo?

Okay, dumb question of the month.

did I miss something, or is some kind of caching somewhere messing me up… If I de-select “Show twistie when row is expandable”, aren’t twisties NOT supposed to show??? Oh, they disappear in the Notes client alright, but the little beggars still show up in views on the web looked at through a web browser.

I thought part of the whole Notes 6 excitement for people was that we could get RID of those ugly little critters; maybe I misread the excitement. (I know I can swap in other image resources from a db, but I don’t want anything, nada, nulla.)

p.s. I’m not stuck, I can still use all the various scripting and stylesheet tricks that we all used in Domino 5, it’s just that I thought the whole point was we wouldn’t have to do that anymore. With any luck, someone will point out the one thing I’m missing, and then I will tick that and be a happy camper.

I just did some testing on this, and the behaviour is as expected if you use the applet, but does appear to be as you describe if you use HTML. I’ll need to test this a bit further to see if I can come up with more info…
