Is there a way to hide “personal” (set by category) tasks from others viewing my calendar? It appears to me that viewing is an all or nothing option.
thanks

Subject: hide personal tasks from Access to Schedule?
From help:
Select Mark Private to prevent people who can read your Calendar from reading the entry. People who can manage your Calendar can see the date and time, but not the contents of the entries.
I thought there use to be other things you could put in the subject line to limit who could read things like Pers: but I can’t find any documentation on that so maybe I’m thinking of another tool.

Thanks for the post. The problem is that I have a blacberry that wirelessly syncs to Notes, but the BB task fields do not include a “private” setting, so I need some other way to screen what people can see (of course I can manually enter it as “private” in notes once I get back to the office, but that’s not ideal).

If you have the ability to create an agent on your mail DB, maybe you could add code such that if you set the subject to [Personal]: it should check to see if Mark Private is set and if it’s not automatically do it for you. There would a short amount of time before the agent might run that it wouldn’t be private but it would automated things for you.
I don’t have access to a blackberry to see if there is anything on that end that could be done to overcome this problem. Seems like there should be setting / way to mark a meeting private.
