We want to hide the Groups view and its subviews and we are all set with how to do this. Our question stems from the viewing of another article:
"Make SURE you give servers that will need to see this group access. Probably best just to give LocalDomainServers the right to see the groups.
Also note that, in R5, users would not be able to see groups that were “hidden”, but would still be able to send e-mail to those groups (if they were mail or multi purpose groups). In R6 (and off the top of my head, I don’t remember if it’s 6.0.3, or 6.5.2, or what), the users won’t even be able to send mail to the group. So they can’t “guess” that there is a group called “Administrator”, and send e-mail to it if it is hidden from them in the Domino Directory. "
If we hide the view (this previous doc was for specific groups being hidden) will users still be able to send mail to the groups even though they can’t see the group view in the address book?
