I need to hide the below button if its a new document. How can I accomplish this? Thanks

A simple way, that does not involve refreshing, is to create a variable in the HTML header

"

Next, surround the button with span tags and give the span and id and set the display to “none”.

In the onLoad event, check the variable and change the display property of the span as needed. Note that I am using the prototype library. If you aren’t using a lib that incorporates prototype the syntax below will not work. You will have to use getElementByID, then apply the style attribute.

if(!isNewDoc){

$('calpicker1').style.display = "inline";

}
