We have lowered the Access level on our Domino Directory from Designer to Editor for a certain support group. It seems that ever since we did that, they cannot get direct access (Ctrl-Shift) to the hidden views in the NAB such as ($ServerAccess) that are helpful for troubleshooting.
I looked for Access Controls on the view, on the Outline, Frameset and Page elements involved but nothing there indicates an access restriction.
I have heard anecdotes that this is how Notes works (only designers can see the hidden views navigation lists) since the last few releases, maybe forever, but I cannot find this behavior documented anywhere.
Anybody know for sure where it’s documented or am I missing* something?
*(like a side effect such as checking “create shared folders” grants this right.)
