hi need to create an agent to run on particular calendar entries & export that to another database.
I need to get the user input start date & end date by running the agent , so any one get me the code. to capture the users input date in lotus Script.
Once i get the dates i need to filter the entries with the start date to end date. So how can this be done in Lotus Script.
All the above activity is done by a single agent

To get the date, look at NotesUIWorkspace.DialogBox or the Inputbox function (less control over data being input - no date picker, it might not be a valid date, etc.).
Then use the input in NotesDatabase.Search. The search string can have something like [StartDate >= inputStartDate & EndDate <= inputEndDate].

What is did was like this:
First i am trying to get the handle to the view which has the calendar entires. Later iam applying the view selection formula for those entries to be restricted within the date range.

If you get the entry or entries from a view, I believe that you will have to analyze each entry as you loop through to see if it’s within your date parameters.
It might be easier to use NotesDatabase.Search instead of the view.
