I have may be stupid question, but I can not open the admin help database on a R5 client due to an Ivalid nsf vesion. Do I have to rename the extension.
a Nd6 database can be use on R5 Client? I guess it should be but there is a particular action?

If you want to read this db from an R5 client, you’ll have to convert the ODS back to an R5 ODS. The simplest way is to open the file with a Notes 6x client and make a new copy of the database with a NS5 extension.

You can also run the following :
load compact help65_admin.nsf -R
This will convert the ODS back to 41 (R5).
But the next time the DB is compacted by the server, the ODS will change back to 43 (ND6).

I had the same exact problem yesterday. We will be upgrading to 6.5 this coming weekend so I upgraded one test machine to 6.5 and was then able to open the Admin file.
