Hi experts,

I am using Lotus Domino 7 with Windows 2003 Server SP2.

My question is:

When I create a new user and this user sends any internal email his name shows First Name Las Name/My_Domain.

Now when this user sends any email to Internet for example hotmail, his names appears only first name.

How can I do, to make his name appear like Anderson Muniz when he sends email external?

You need to create a Global Domain document to handle this conversion for you.Search in the Lotus Domino Administrator on how to setup this.

You will need to restart your router task - no need to restart the smtp task.

The return address comes from 3 different places in this order.

  1. The location document’s Internet Address field value on the local machine.

  2. The Internet Address field in the person doc in the Domino Directory.

  3. The configuration document field. Mime–Advanced–Advanced Outbound Message Options–RFC822 phrase handling.

Also, look at the messaging\Domains view for any setting in the Global Domain document for other outgoing problems.
