I have an agent that passes the output of a URL to the client browser. This output is an Excel spreadsheet. It was taken from some examples found on this forum about a year ago. It works but now I am creating a new project I derived from this one and it does not work.
The object is to allow a servlet running on a firewalled server to render the data and present it through the domino server that is open to the web.
I get new my agent to run but I never get the prompt to open or save.
Here is a snippet of the code.
URL uServerBehindFirewall=new URL(“http://someserver”);
URLConnection cn=uServerBehindFirewall.openConnection();
DataInputStream dInStream=new DataInputStream(cn.getInputStream());
On the first agent those three lines get the data and somehow magically send the output to the client browser. On the second it does not even though I know the servlet is being called by watching it’s logs.
Is there a setting in the database that would be blocking this?
