HELP with Site Profile on resource database

Hello,

I’m creating a new Resource Database on a Domino 8.5 FP1 server.

I have the “CreateResource” role in the ACL

but I can’t create a site profile, each time I have this error

“Domain name is not set in your location document. You must set it before creating a New Site”

I created many in the past in R6.5, it is the first time a create a brand new one in R8.5, is there something I’m doing wrong ???

Subject: The message says it

In the Location Document you are using when you try this, the Domino Mail Domain field must be filled out for the Domain you are administering. This is not new to 8.5, but was added at some point in the past to allow admins to administer for more than one domain (by switching location docs).

So I searched again after your answer, I finally got it ! Always easier when someone told you “just read the message” :wink:

is this “Domain Mail Domain” field can be set by policy ? is it in the Location in the Desktop policy ?
