Help with Queryputinfolder

Here is my problem: I have a folder named “John Doe” and a folder named “Jane Doe”. These are in a mail database. When a document is dragged from “John Doe” to “Jane Doe” I would like an E-Mail notification sent the person whose folder it was sent to (Jane Doe). i ran the event Queryputinfloder but it sends a email notification to the person dragging the document (John Doe). So I would like it the other way around E-mail sent to the reciever not the sender. Thanks a lot.

Use the Target, not the Source, to find out what folder the document is being put into.

If that’s not your problem, see this: How to ask a technical question about Notes/Domino

I got a different idea. This might have been posted before but I can’t find. If I want to restrict users from moving documents to other folders using formula language, how would you go about doing this.

There’s not a way using formula language, but there’s an access control list for folders that says who may update the contents.
