I have been a domino admin in the past, but quite a few versions ago (pre 4.0 I think) I am thinking about applying for a position that requires knowledge of Domino, and as part of the proccess there are a series of questions they would like answers to;
Task 4 Improving web application performance
A web application on Domino requires that users only access the server through SSL. To achieve this, any non-SSL traffic is redirected to SSL. Performance tests have shown that Domino doesn’t handle SSL traffic very efficiently, leading to a higher CPU load on the server and reduced performance for users. To resolve this, you plan to implement a load balancer with SSL acceleration module. Assuming the load balancer and SSL module are configured properly, what Domino configuration would you need to set and what would you expect might go wrong?
Now a direct answer to this question would not be much use, so I was wondering if some kind soul might be able to point me towards somewhere where I might be able to gather the required knowledge?
