Hi! I’ve recently installed a Domino Server and I was trying to configure a notes client in another pc, but I can’t, because something about the certificates… I’m missing something, someone can tell me the steps to perform this?

You can install the client, but if you want to connect to and use your new Domino server, you will need a registered user. When you setup the server the first time, you were prompted for an Administrative name and password. The server created an ID for you, user.id and it should be in the server’s data directory. Check it out.

Mauro:If the ID is in the Domino Directory as well, install the client, answer the questions and when it gets to the question “where is the ID file” tell the installer that it is in the Domino Directory. Then keep going. If the ID is NOT in the Domino Directory, then copy it to a floppy, and when prompted for “where is the ID file” tell the installer that it is on the floppy drive. Then keep going.
After the Notes client install is done, you will be connected to your Domino server. This is covered in the Help database, which you can access by clicking on Technical Library to the left.
