Help when send email with attached file

Hi,

I have a MacBook with Notes Client 8.5. From some days today, when the user macbook sends an email with attached file (word) to any email, the destination cant open the file because it comes like codes binhex.

My question, is this problem with notes client 8.5 or office for mac?

Subject: Outbound attachment encoding method

Hi Anderson,

Maybe you already found the attachments settings your used location. You will have to set the “Outbound attachment encoding method” to “Base64”

If that does not help - change the Mac attachment setting to Base64, too.

You will find these settings in the lower right corner of the window (or open the names.nsf > advanced > locations)
