Help -- weird problem

I have a user that I moved his mailfile with adminp to userold.nsf, well I have since renamed the file back tio user.nsf and mail being sent to this user just sits in the mail.box waiting to be delivered to mail/userold.nsf. I have checked all names.nsf replicas in our domain and they all point to mail/user.nsf, yet mail still tries to go to mail/userold.nsf. I have done a CRTL-SHIFT-F9 on the directory incase indexes were corrupt to no avail. I am out of things to try… ideas anyone?

Thanks - Don

try “tell router q”, wait for router to shut down then “load router”

Yeah tried that… I’ve run fixup and compact on the mail.box and still router thinks it supposed to go to mail/userold.nsf – Thanks though … Don

Try doing a “tell router update config” I’ve seen this issue before, and once you run the update config on the router, and then issue a “route *”, it usually works.

OK, we found the problem. It happened that somehow the AdminP process didn’t complete the move properly and left a NewMailFile field in the person doc with the entry of mail/userold.nsf. We removed that field and mail started flowing!

Thanks to all for your responses.
