I just upgraded my Domino server from 6.5.1 to 6.5.6 and now I can’t log into Sametime using my Notes client. (We are using Sametime only within Notes, not the full Sametime client.)
Am I missing a critical part of the upgrade?? When I try to log in, my Notes client is telling me invalid password, but I know that it is correct.

Do you have a backup of sametime.ini from the Domino programs folder (eg. c:\Lotus\Domino).If I recall correctly, there is a line in it that begins ‘VPS_ALLOWED_LOGIN_TYPES=’ that tell the server what client builds are allowed to connect. Perhaps it is missing a critical entry.

is the staddin task loaded? Obvious I know but thought the upgrade may have removed it from the notes.ini
Does the console show sametime services as running?
