Help Team! Formula woes

This seems right to me… runs on a 7.0.2 client (if I change version !=“265”). Server is 7.0.2. 1st thought… maybe a @function/command is R6 or higher. These are 5.0.12/13 clients. I changed RunAgent (R6+ only) to ToolsRunMacro… what is up? The 1st 2 prompts work fine then nothing… it should kick off upgrade. Just does nothing after final OK prompt… any thoughts?

version := @Version;

@If(version=“265”; @Return(“”); “”);

_mychoice :=@Prompt([YesNo];“Sample”;“Sample Text”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site1 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList);_mychoice; “”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site2 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList);_mychoice; “”);

@If(_mychoice=0;@Return(“”);“”);

_myecl :=@Prompt([Ok];“Sample 2”;“Sample 2 text…”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site1 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList);_myecl;“”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site2 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList);_myecl;“”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site1 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList);@Command([ToolsRunMacro]; “(SetVAR)”);“”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site2 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList);@Command([ToolsRunMacro]; “(SetVAR)”);“”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site1 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList); @MailSend( “TrackUpgrades” ; “” ; “” ; @Name([CN];@UserName) + “: " + “Initiated Notes 7.0.2 Upgrade” ; “” ; “” ; “” );”");

@If(@IsMember(“Site2 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList); @MailSend( “TrackUpgrades” ; “” ; “” ; @Name([CN];@UserName) + “: " + “Initiated Notes 7.0.2 Upgrade” ; “” ; “” ; “” );”");

@If(@IsMember(“Site1 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList); @Command([FileExit]);“”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site2 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList); @Command([FileExit]);“”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site1 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList); @Command([Execute];“K:\clientupgrade\setup.exe”);“”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site2 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList); @Command([Execute];“K:\clientupgrade\setup.exe”);“”)

See these lines

_ecl :=@Prompt([Ok];“Sample 2”;“Sample 2 text…”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site1 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList);_myecl;“”);

@If(@IsMember(“Site2 Upgrades”; @UserNamesList);_myecl;“”);

_ecl collects response from @Prompt, but @if checks with _myecl,

Is that correct?

Sorry… I was posting change (was a typo) when you were reading the original. It is corrected now. Thanks… it is _myecl.

Subject: RE: Help Team! Formula woes…

read the help files for sequence of execution for @formula and @commands, they execute in a different order and not in the order coded.

Subject: RE: Help Team! Formula woes…

why not use LS based agent to do these steps?

Subject: RE: Help Team! Formula woes…

My updated formula works great… the big issue are the ECL screens. I cannot think of a great way to automate the ECL update with the signer. Simple in R7 client but these are R5.0.12/13. Any ideas?

Thanks… I am having an issue with the @command running before the final @function is done. Am using @PostedCommand (forces at end)… is there a way to pause formula until 1 thing has finished?
