I have 2 websites on one Domino server, and would like to set up Internet Site documents for each. In the past, I have successfully used Web Server configuration documents for the same purpose, but would like to start using Internet Site documents on our new 8.0.1 server.
I have 2 IP addresses on one NIC card on the server. Once I enabled “Load Internet configurations from Server\Internet Sites documents” on the server, I quickly learned that I had to set up an SMTP Internet site document for inbound mail traffic… no problem.
I then set up a default website Internet Site doc for our primary website, and that worked as well. However, when I set up the Internet Site document for the second website and type in the IP address for that site, it takes me to the default website. The path in the second Internet site document is okay, as it seems to work just fine when I change that Internet Site to be the default site. My guess is that I’m not understanding what is required in the “Host names or addresses mapped to this site” field in the Internet Site document. I’ve tried both the internal IP and the External IP address. Or maybe there is something I need to do on the local DNS server? (FYI, I am testing access to these sites from outside the domain)
Any help would be appreciated.
