I don’t know what I may be doing wrong, but nothing in the Client Help entry for getting single logon working is making any sense.
First, it says " you must have selected the custom feature “Client Single Logon” when you installed Lotus Notes." I have now tried three times, and it never asks me. First, I installed Notes on a completely clean Vista machine - it never asked me this question. I tried the old trick of deleting everything in notes.ini except the first few lines. It went through the install wizard, but does not ask. I have then comepletely uninstalled Notes (which on Vista takes a ridiculous amount of time - longer than to install) and re-installed. Again, no question. Exactly when is it going to ask me?
Also, Help says “If the single logon option is not enabled, exit Lotus Notes and use Add/Remove Programs in Windows to change the installation. Click Change, and then follow the instructions in the Lotus Notes 8 Installation Wizard, selecting “Client Single Logon Feature” in the Custom Setup dialog box.” But neither Vista nor XP offer the option to change Notes - the only option is uninstall.
Please help me, or am I going mad!!!
