Is this a bug? Whenever I create a shared column, after insert into existing view, I can no longer edit the shared column, if I did this, I can no longer edit the shared column again, as I will be getting error message, invalid data.
I would really appreciate if anyone is willing to share. tqvm.

I don’t know exactly what this means. How do you try to edit the shared column? Please say exactly what you do.

There is no error message in Notes that says only “invalid data”. Please tell the entire error message, and say step by step what you did up to the point where you got the error.
People can edit shared columns, so there is something special about what you’re doing. Please tell everything so we can know what is different about what you are doing, compared to what other people do.

I just go to the shared column and double click, than I got error message “View item has invalid data type”
After creating shared column, I assigned it to a view. Than, I go back to the shared coumn to edit it, once this is saved, I tried to reedit it again, and the above error message happened.

Don’t have that problem with 7.0.1. Are you using a template (.ntf) or modifying the view directly in the database?
