I have setup a DCR connection to an oracle server. The data in my notes db is updated daily which in turn updates the oracle table. If the oracle server is down this then makes the notes server crash and are both unavailable until the oracle server is backup.
Are there settings either in the DCR or the ODBC Connection to prevent this. There has to be something surely.
The Oracle server being unavailable shouldn’t make the Domino server crash – it should just prevent you saving your changes. Please contact Lotus Support for assistance with this issue. There is not a “DCRNOCRASH” INI variable – we’re bright enough to figure out that not crashing should be the default behavior.
