I am a firm beleiver that Lotus Notes is the future of email/database etc. I am in a situation where my company has been bought out by another company. The problem is the other company use Outlook! I am now compiling a report that will show how much more Lotus Notes can benefit a company compared to Outlook/Exchange!
I am basiclly trying to fight to keep Lotus Notes and was appealing to other Notes users to help me compile this report by listing benefits of Lotus Notes over Outlook! I am sure that as Lotus Notes users your feelings against Outlook are strong(Mine are anyway) and I beleive that we notes.net users should stick together as proffesionals and fight against Microsoft! Any help would be gratefully, if i can win this its a definite thumbs up for Notes and a F*** you to Microsoft!
Don’t forget that the last Radicati report, that gave Domino/Notes a clear advantage over Microsoft Exchange, was a co-sponsored study, paid 50% by IBM and 50% by Microsoft. That gives it the credibility it deserves, imho. Funny thing is, Microsoft still uses the 1998 version on their website, because that’s the last one that had Exchange coming out as a winner.
