Can anyone provide me with some assistance to write an agent that will run on a regular interval?
We have a few business processes that require email notifications to be sent to various distribution lists on a scheduled basis. I have no experience writing lotusscript agents and my other agent experience is limited to the ‘Out of Office’ agent or very simple formulas.
The requirements as I can think of them, is to 1)send an email to a person/group from the DD, 2)schedule on a regular interval (by date or day of week) that is more frequent than the current list of options (more than 1x/week/month/etc…), 3)activate without a trigger document (in the past I have used other documents to trigger the agent to run, not sure if that is necessary).
Thanks in advance for your help. I could provide more specific details if that would help to understand, ie. my company has a regular payroll period that cycles on the 5th and 20th of every month, whereby employees have to track their time based on an active client list.
