Yep, that’s right I actually WANT to pick messages and make them dead…
Here is why:
I have some mail rules to trap “junk” mail and mark it held in the mail.box. As the admin, I’m supposed to review these messages to see if they are indeed work related, or just personal junk. If work related, I’m supposed to “release held mail”. However, if the email is not work related, they want me to “Send NDR Full” but you can only do that on Dead messages.
I’m sure I can do this with an agent, but I’m not sure exactly what the “best” method might be to do it.
