I’ve successfully implemented TOTP multi-factor authentication in my environment.
After implementation, web access is working without any issues.
The HCL Verse app on iPhone connects and syncs correctly.
The problem I’m having is with the HCL Verse app on Android. When I enter the server URL, something like: https://“MyServer”.com/Traveler, the app displays a message and the screen goes blank.
My environment: Server operating system: Windows Server 2019; Domino version: 14.0 FP3 HF17 (recently updated from version 12 following HCL’s recommendations).
Given your description, the issue is likely related to how the Android version of HCL Verse handles the TOTP authentication flow after the Domino upgrade and MFA enablement, rather than a general Traveler connectivity problem (since web access and iPhone Verse are working).
Hello! Thank you so much for your prompt response.
Question: Is there a way to disable TOTP ONLY for the mobile apps on the HCL version? In other words, it would only be active for web access on the PC.
Hola!. Muchas gracias por tu pronta respuesta.
Consulta: ¿Tengo forma de deshabilitar el TOTP UNICAMENTE para las App en móviles HCL Verse? Ósea quedaría activo solamente para el acceso via web en el PC.
Once TOTP is enabled on a Domino/Traveler web endpoint, it becomes the authentication method for that endpoint. I found this –>Disable TOTP for login from certain IPs or subnets
I would suggest you to create a support ticket to investigate this.
