Have anyone tried to Change administration server before?

Hi,

I’ve an issue with my current administration server that leads to a memory leak and I get the message “Insufficient memory - NSF pool is full.”

We have tried a few changes to notes.ini parameters and AIX parameters based on IBM support recommendations.

I recently upgraded to FP6 as advised that I should solve my problem but unfortunately it didn’t.

I’m currently running Domino 8.5.3 FP6.

I have installed Domino 9 on a new server and added it to the cluster & I was planning to change the administration server to the new one and decommission the old one after a month or so.

Has anyone went through this exercise before ?

What are the expected risk ? An old Domino fellow was just warning me to decommission the old server, he recommends to keep it and reduce the resources assigned to it as much as possible.

Any recommendations ?

I already have an IBM article that explains the steps & it seems EASY, however, I need some real life feedback.

The process is pretty straight forward. The major issue is to ensure that you have all of the databases updated with the information. You must ensure that all replication/connection documents are correct and that you have all Admin4.nsf processes completed before you make the change. This codument will help:
