Has anyone come across this mailfile issue?

Hello,

We have a 2 server cluster setup with our email servers. One of the servers in the clusters went down as the VMware disk space got filled up. After bringing the downed server back up and running I have 3 users so far who have an issue with their mailfiles. It seems their inbox is pretty much wiped out and they have a bunch of documents in the drafts folder without any subject and for the most part nothing in the body. One users has a bunch of these documents with attachments. (Screen Shot below.)

Just wondering if anyone has had this happening to them before and a possible fix for it. On the user below. I did the Ctrl + Shift+ F9, ran a fixup and an updall -C on their mailfile to no avail.

Another issue with the below mailfile is that the size of the 2 replica’s are very different in size. there’s like a 5gb difference in their mailfile.

Thanks for any assistance you can give me.

Subject: This might help??

Not sure this is really the same issue, but it might help…we had a similar issue, only it was replication save conflicts, or weird icons and messages in the inbox:

Subject: fixup / size

try running fixup and updall -R

also, the size difference is likely due to view indexes in 1 replica and not the other.

Subject: Thanks for the reply…

Thanks for the replies. I have tried the Fixup and Updall, but it didn’t work.

I’ve seen the Replication / Save conflict as indicated by that Technote. Unfortunately, this is that case.

Thanks again
