First note this is NOT about the new client config option to turn gutter selection back on for databases where it was not supported in 8.0. This report has to do with gutter selection on databases with standard view designs (like this forum) where gutter selection was always available.
The appearance and disappearance of gutter selection checkmarks has gone haywire. Following are three screenshots of this forum.
In this screenshot, the first FIVE documents are selected, by dragging from the top document down. You can tell as the status bar indicates that all five are selected. While clicking and dragging, the first checkmark only showed up when I reached document #5. Sometimes it is #3 or 4.
After grabbing and dragging the screen size, the remainder of the document checkmarks show up:
Finally, I deselected all but the first document, which worked both on the status bar and the gutter UI. Then, I clicked on the remaining checkmark on the first document but it would not go away. In this screenshot, ZERO documents are selected.
Resolution to all of these issues was to resize the window. This issue is new with the public beta, it was not an issue in private beta.
