Mulitple Server (SSO) was inapproporiately implemented when we installed our servers about 6 months ago. We have realized we do not need this feature so want to disable it as it it causing annoying timeout issues.
Can someone give guidance around the correct process to disable? Its not as simple as it may appear.
Yesterday we changed the Multiple Server (SSO) option in the Server Document on our Production server (spoke server) to Single Server. When replication occured between that server and the hub server, both the Server Documents on the hub as well as the production (spoke) completely disappeared. (Either deleted or hidden, not sure).
As a result the hub server failed to come up when we rebooted. We fixed that by replacing the server document with a backup but now are having replication conflicts and SSO is still enabled. I think we should of deiabled it on the hub first and let the change replicate out?!?
Step by step guidance on how to turn it off completely much appreciated.
Thanks
