Hi,
I use Groupshield 5.2.1 with Domino 6.0.1 CF1 and I have the following problem. Some users have set the option to encrypt automatically all saved copy of the mails they sent. The problem is that Groupshield cannot scan those mails and automatically put them in quarantine!! I’ve found no option to prevent this unexpected and unrequested behaviour.
If anyone has an idea, I’d be glad to know it!
Thanks,

I just recently had to make this change myself because we were also erroneously trapping encrypted mail.
Open your GroupShield Configuration database, then go to Mail.Box Settings. The top section is for “Encrypted Mail”, and you can set it to “trust all”.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately this setting applies only to the documents which are scanned into the mail.box. If you create a encrypted document into any other databases, this document will be quarantined with no easy option to put it back!! So far the only workaround I’ve found is to disable the on-access scan of the data which is not really good!!

Another way is to select “Trust from selected” instead of “Trust all” and then enter the wildcard with your notes domain eg. */abcnotes
