Hello:
Just recently we have discovered that all of our Domino email distribution groups (multi-purpose, and mail only) are not able to receive mail from outside the network. I will receive a 550 error (state 14) when trying to email the address of the group. We haven’t made any recent changes to our server and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what might be causing this. Your help is greatly appreciated.

only thing I can think of is in your server config doc, Router/SMTP > Restrictions and Controls > SMTP Inbound Controls under Inbound Intended Recipients Controls section if “Verify that local domain recipients exist in the Domino Directory” is enabled then make sure that “Deny mail to groups” is disabled.

where is the deny mail to group setting in the server config, I do not see it.
