My junior admin has been complaining to me that names have been randomly vanishing from groups. At first I did not believe him, thinking that he just forgot to add them to the groups when he first registered them into the system.
But it just happened to me. This morning (Monday) I noticed that my own name had vanished from my main “IS” group sometime between last Thursday evening and late afternoon Friday. Nobody had touched Domino Admin all day Thursday or Friday, so it wasn’t deleted manually either.
Is this a known phenominon, and is there something I could do about it?

I have never seen this happen by basic N/D. However, check to see if there are any Adin Processes going on. Also are ther any applications that interact with the NAB to update groups? Sometimes there are forgotten DB that are running scheduled agents that do some pretty weird things.Something is directly acting on the group. Can you check the last modified date on the group, and who modified it?

After I re-added myself to the group, of course the who/when data got stomped on… I’ll check for sure the next time this phenominon occurs.
