Hi, I have made a group named “#Editors” which have editor access on the db.I have set default access to Readers. But when the person listed in “#Editors” group opens the db he gets reader access. He should editor access.
I have tried whatever was possible. refresh the db,press F9,using control+shift+F9 etc. even I restarted the server but still the situation is same.
Anybody knows what could be the problem?

Hi, try to check box under ACL - > Enforce a consistent ACL across all replicas of this database

Also make sure that in the group, the member doesn’t have the @Domain after their name.

Thanx guys for your replies. I have solved it.The problem was “Person” selected in the ACL instead of “Person Group” mistakenly.
Now it’s working fine
